The graphics look really great! Reminds me of the Cusco STI.
I can't wait to see what my old V-limited is up to in "the after life" lol.

Alright guys, I just spent some time and made a Table of Contents for this thread. It's gotten so long and out of control that I felt it was necessary for new-comers to be able to find what they wanted.

You can find the Table of Contents on the very first post, located here :

HSPN / IWSTI Race Car (OMG not again! See post 1109)

Some interesting news...

I had a friend call Tobin at Enkei and he was told that a container was definitely coming tomorrow and that wheels would be in stock next week. I then called Tobin myself and he told me he didn't know when any of the RPF1's would be available and that getting them this month would be questionable.

After hearing this, I had my friend call someone else at Enkei who basically told him that the wheels I wanted were IN STOCK and had been in stock for a few weeks. I tried to call him and only go through to voicemail...

What's going on with Enkei? Who knows...

So, rather than getting frustrated, I called Racing Hart. Before even talking to anyone about sponsorship I just ask what wheels they had available. I was told that the particular wheels I wanted (the only lightweight wheels they make) were special order from Japan and would take a minimum of 60 days to get here. So now Racing Hart is out...

Unless Enkei gets a swift kick in the ass and gets their **** together, it looks like I have two other options left:

1) Paint the stock wheels white and wait for the Enkei's
2) Just give up and BUY some Volk CE28N's and get them painted white

The first option is tempting, and I am kind of curious to see what the stock wheels would look like in white, but it's also kind of stupid at the same time. The second option is even less tempting because I would be going from getting 2-3 sets of wheels for close to nothing, to spending over $1500 for one set of Volks. At this point I'm not really sure what to do, but it's just absurd that after waiting 4 months Enkei still doesn't have my wheels.

I hope Enkei gets you some wheels soon. White will look so nice (until it's covered in brake dust from your high speed braking) on your car.

Good luck.

Maybe after 4 mos of waiting you should wait just a little bit more, it sounds like it will definitely be worth it Ben. Or you could just buy me the set of Volks!

Paint the stock wheels until you get Volks
Easy for me to say without spending the money, but Volks = sweet of course.

Ben,
I think you need to write a book, the title should be:
How to take a great road car, go nuts and turn it into a BAD ASS track car

So its a little long, but you get the idea!

very nice
