Those mirrors really look good. I like the way Scott's grill looks on the car too.

Looking good. I really am liking that front fender more and more.

Thanks guys

I'll keep you updated on the APR front splitter and the rest of the decals. I'm going to try to put the white stickers on this week and get the Team RD / IWSTI stickers printed as well. I need to make an appointment to do the APR front splitter because it's going to require drilling several holes in the carbon fiber, cutting the v-limited lip (to fill the gap), and drilling 2 holes in the bumper . It should be worth it when we see the final result though!

Damn, I just got done reading, you've definitely done a lot to the car since the last time I checked in with this thread. The graphics look awesome! I love the intake grille too.

Looking really good, the white wheels & more stickers to fill in the white area will really make it pop.

We installed the Cobb Double Adjustable Short Shifter yesterday and it works great! I didn't really know what to expect when Cobb sent it to me to do the HSPN install video but I was very impressed. You can adjust the length of the throw (shorter / longer) and the height of the shift knob with an allen wrench any time you want. I already had the factory STI short shift kit so once I put this on the throw was ridiculously short . Other than a few installation quirks (which are covered in the video) it wasn't too difficult to install. It would probably take 1 to 1.5 hours to install if we didn't have to film everything. It ended up taking about 5 hours of shooting to cover everything properly though . Overall, I think it's a great product and the best short shifter on the market.

The HSPN review / install video will be up shortly. I'll post a link here and in the videos forum when it's ready.

This is one of the few cars where you would actually get to SEE the Cobb shifter all the time . No center console or boot to cover it up.

As ben said, the install time would be about an hour and a half if you have all the tools ready. I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of effort cobb made in their instructions (but thats aftermarket parts for ya). If anyone considering getting this shifter, be sure to check the install video we are making, it will save you A LOT of time.

I too have the STi short shifter, and the travel between gears with the Cobb is amazing to say the least. Without the plastics in bens car it there really isnt much of a reference point to gauge how low the shift knob can really is, but you definately can feel the difference. All things aside from having to figure everything out on our own, this is a quality product...

... and i want one!

AC will be removed this week, but the dials will probably still be there until they are replaced with more guages.

Check out the e brake next to it. Next time you are in your car look at how high the shifter is in relation to the e brake then look at the picture. Now that I have my car back, I will check it out when I get it into my car and let you know. I was told by Cobb that it was noticeably lower than the stock one.

It's adjustable, obviously, but mine is basically at the bottom. It's probably 3 inches lower than stock. If you like the stock height, you can maintain the stock height as well, or even make it slightly taller.

Thats the great thing about this shifter, it is completly adjustable with the ease of loosening a 3mm allen bolt, moving the shifter to the desired height, and then tightening down the bolt again. No need to rip your car apart all over again.

The ability to change the throw size is really sweet too.
