Ah, yes I figured it out actually. It's something in the 100 Octane gas made by VP Racing that turns pink. My pipe turned a little pink after the track yesterday, not quite as much as last time, but this was because I drove the car about half as much.

Hey Ben (or anyone else who can answer my question) i was reading your posts and was inquiring about the brake man rotors...Correct me if I am wrong...but these rotors only replace the fronts correct? Aside from the question...you have one amazing car. Done up beautifully inside and out...watching videos and looking at youre pictures makes me want to get my STi sooner. Keep up the great work!

Your are correct, the brake man rotors are just for the front.

We should have the production finished within the next 3-4 weeks at which point we will start working on the rear rotors . I cannot wait to have both the front and rears and shed almost 40 lbs of unsprung weight!

Thanks for your kind comments about my STi!

Well, it's official, in the next 3 weeks my STi will be converted to a full time race / track car.

An AutoPower Full 6-Point roll cage will be installed in the next 2 weeks.

Braille / Recaro Pro Racer Hans seats are on order and should be built this month and delivered in early December.

Schroth Profi II Formula Hans 6-Point Harnesses will be installed a soon as the seats arrive.

I will also be stripping some of the interior (back seats, door panels, and other unecessary weight) and will be removing the rear bumper beam as well as replacing the front bumper beam with the JDM bumper beam. I will also be replacing my BBS RE street wheels with some Volk CE28N wheels in either 17x9 or 18x8.5 (not sure yet, but leaning towards 17x9).

The car will be wrapped in an HSPN vinyl and will sport a large IWSTI logo as well .

If anyone is interested, my BBS RE's are for sale as well as my JDM STi Version 8 Seats and Schroth Profi II ASM harnesses.

sounds more like a track day car, not a full on race car. Actually a lot of those bits & pieces sound like my track day setup except for the bolt in cage. I would seriously look into a Custom Cage weld in. Much safer and actually approved by FIA. They cost about a lot more but are a much better option.

Have fun with the car!!
