Take this discussion to the engine forum please. I don't want my member's journal to get too off-topic.

As for Bruce, I think he originally suspected the gunk in his internals was caused by the rich cobb map but later found it was something else. If the Cobb map really did damage to his engine that would mean cobb sent out THOUSANDS of unsafe tunes and a whole lot of people would be experiencing the exact same thing. I highly doubt that is the case.

Either way, if you want to discuss this please make a post in the ECU or Engine forum. Thanks.

This fire is crazy, even though many friends have been evacuated and I hope that no one gets hurt, I do enjoy the days off school due to being unable to reach it. I hope all is well Ben and that your STI is doing awesome.

It's raining ashes here now. The sunset was also pretty amazing. The sun was bright red in the middle of a sky full of smoke.

In all fairness, when I post a new video I put VIDEO in the title, or PICS, etc. FIRE was quite appropriate for the situation

The IWSTI Store attacked my STi today. Luckily, no damage was done, but I had to spend atleast 2 minutes picking up shirts off my car.

An IWSTI License Plate Frame was also recovered at the scene:

Note that the pink "IWSTI" in the license plate frame looks faded in the picture. In person it actually matches the STi badge on the trunk.

Oh and Ben, as for your pink exhaust.. If you havnt figured it out yet, my guess is its polish from when they polished the pipe at the factory. Just a guess.. but they might have dropped some in there.
