IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | update: cobb heads i am sorry to report that one of the heads trey kicked in is unusable. there is a hole where the CNC machine cut though to the water jacket. i have a picture from phil that i may post up later but there really isn't much to see except for a small hole. with a little massaging and cleanup, the stock heads are still completely serviceable. phil will be taking them to a local machine shop. meanwhile, the element tuning shortblock is almost finished. as it turns out, nothing can be salvaged from the old motor including the rods, which are too long and the reason why the pistons were protruding too far. |

| S204 Racer | As was said in one of these 2 threads (my head is spinning after all this horror), let us know as much of the final engine specifics as possible. I can't imagine much of the build being a "trade secret", however whatever is not, let us know. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | i don't expect phil will want to cite the actual manufacturer of his re-branded parts, i.e., the rods, etc. i may be able to squeeze him for the tolerances he's using, though (isfh).
