update:

ricky had a relapse yesterday. he is one miserable guy. he was doing fairly well today and there was a brief period of maybe an hour or so when he felt good enough to join me in the shop. he tightend up a few odds and ends under the car.

meanwhile, i had already started preparing the trunk for the comp fuel system tray by removing the side liners. i had to remove eddie marine battery box, the plastic skid plate around the lower lock and the carpet. i cleaned all the sheet metal with simple green, taped off everything that need to be taped off and sprayed the entire inside of the trunk with duplicolor textured black truck bed paint. it looks freakin great. it is a very (pre) industrial look, which is pretty much the theme of the project when we're done. i'll give it another coat tomorrow and take some pics.

(there's a clue in this paragraph and my gallery spec sheet about one part of the secret i swore eatv8 to and a huge clue in post # 1271(isfh).
