IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | both tumblers are already painted and intalled on the intake manifold. i'm headed out to get some gas for the welder and some hardware to mount the rails. meanwhile, ricky is going to sand blast the blue anodized paint off the bdl rails themselves. we're going to polish them. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | here's a pic of a new bdl rail mounted to its tumbler. the blue anodized paint was sandblasted off and the billet polished and polished some more. ricky had to massage the o-rings on the rc1000's to make them fit. the two brass spacers started out as pipe nipples from a hardware store that were sized to fit and polished for the occassion. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (29) | This is better than X-mas where you unwrap all the gifts!!!! Bruce, I think I may be able to take a trip over to you next Sunday? That sound good? I would do it this Sunday, but the STi has a donut (FTL!!) and I am driving the gas guzzling 86 Camaro for now with no A/C and T-Tops that leaks more than a hooker! Def have some vids of the intial startup. Can't wait to be part of the crew for the E-town event. |

the koyo r and samco hoses are back in. i ordered spark plugs and an oil filter from napa. we're pretty sure we're cranking it up before the fourth. i have two thank yous: - statik (proud sponsor of the first build's "4:20 report") for kicking in a stunning billet pitch stop mount, which should look groovy with the polished billet fuel rails - and BluePearl04 for kicking in 500 mb's of web hosting for all the pics neanderthal racing will be putting up. | dances with roads | Wow, more great custom fab work by ricky. He should sign your car when it's finished. As for stopping to crap, please reconsider; after all, think of what might happen when the beast belches back to life for the first time. Last edited by wdb; 07-03-2006 at 05:23 AM. |
