i would love nothing more than to have you guys come up for the event. i might even reconnect the webcam for the folks who would like to be there and can't.

the problem with making predictions on a project this complex and with this much fabrication is that you never know when you have to rethink/redo things, based on problems an situations that occur spontaneously. we haven't taken many false steps over the last 12 mos but in the last week we had issues with the cage (redesign the harness bar - change one thing and it requires changes to others) and the tumblers (the injectors didn't fit). i predicted startup tomorrow less than 4 or 5 days ago. the tumblers will take what looks like 8 total hrs if not more. we also have a holiday weekend coming up.

all i can say is, stay tuned and keep gas in the car.

Any idea which specific day it will be running? I would love to come up to see it, but would need to know ahead of time so I will know which day of the week to take off from work.

Besides think about it you have the 4th July as vacation, then you can wait until sat. making sure everything works fine, cuadruple checking to see for any errors, then on sat. mid day 12pm VIOLA!! VROOM VROOM!
