IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | sponsorship update: I just want to take a few moments to publically thank some of the great folks who have stepped forward to offer help or sponsorship for the cutn edg project. we are still sorting through our needs for the upcoming season, so i am not ready to get into any details just yet, but here is a list of my heros. esseme robert (staticx) element tuning kartboy z1 performance rallysport direct crucial racing king of imports ...and cobb tuning loyalty and friendship are sacred to me. no matter what i do or what offers we ultimately take advantage of every one of you is on my 'i owe you big" list. god bless you all. brucechapman Last edited by Neanderthal Racing; 02-14-2006 at 03:02 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | crucial racing sponsorship details: as you know, we port matched stock exhaust manifold and heat-wrapped the center pipe last summer. i figure jeremy will be laughing his way to the crucial racing's coating station when he sees my port matching job. he'll be cleaning up my mistakes and treating them with crucial's heat coating treatment. next, theyre going to heat coat the turbo, which is a great idea beause that element gt65 turbo puts out enough heat to make you forget about the sun. We're also, waiting on some new crucial exhaust manifold gaskets to come in. he's got a couple new products that i asked for. he's got some super trick locking nuts (see thumbnails). They're a normal Grade 8+ nut with a groove machined in the middle. You put a retainer that is cut with a 12-point hex so it has lots of adjustment down onto the nut so it butts up against an immovable object, preventing the nut from being able to turn... then the e-clip goes on that groove and holds the retainer down. It's easy enough to pop the clip off if you need to remove parts, and everything is totally reusable. He's pretty excited about them in. also, some brand new phenolic spacers for the tumblers which will alo receive crucial racing's heat coating. cutn edg is also getting a set of crucial racing gaskets, along with a bunch of other stuff that i show you when theyre here. this is going to be fun.
