Awesome, I had posted a link one one of the other threads on Nasioc to Cobb's recent post regarding their re-introduction of their engine program, I figured this was bound to happen.

I'm sure you'll post lots of pics when you get the new block in, what's the ETA?

yes ese, a cobb pro stage2 2.6 l stroker short block! i can't think of anyone better than you to help me announce that the cutn edg project is now sponsored by cobb tuning.

i'll have more details later but it is going to involve a complete rebuild of the shortblock to cobb's exacting specifications. i have to tell you, it's great to be able to use the words "shortblock" and "exacting specifications" in the same sentence. cobb is also rebuilding my heads to go with that shortblock.

i could not be happier than i am right now. i promise to do everything i can to make cobb tuning and you all proud. you have all sustained me through this and i am grateful to everyone for your love and support.

on the count of three as loud as you can:
1
2
3
...quirt who?

thank you trey cobb!

Congratulations

i assume they don't have a problem with you using hydra / element for your management? Their help in this project is "just" with the motor building? that's good news - glad you're taking all that's transpired in stride, though it seems to be your way to do so...

NOW we're talking! Out with the deadwood, in with the new boys.

So you will get one of their Stage 2 builds, using your stroker parts and block? Or, are we going fresh?

This is the second time in so many hours that I have seen Cobb and their staff step up to the plate for our community. If there are any other business owners out there, it would be wise to take note of what has unfolded here. It looks to me to be an invaluable lesson in customer support and consumer loyalty!

And once again, I can't wait to hear the "lope" of those Stg. 3 cams!!

Congrats Bruce!

Glad to see everything coming together again. Cobb seem to be a real stand up company. Not just because of this sponsorship, but their customer service no matter if it was a $100 intake or a $2500 power package.

I am sure Trey Cobb knows this already, but this is one of the best choices he will ever make to promote their engine and head building abilities. So many people only associate Cobb with Exhausts and Access Ports.
