i didn't have the time to go through the whole thread but it motivated a couple thoughts and questions. the monster gt42 is probably going to be too big for drag racing much less street. it will be really interesting to see when they can get it to spool. i didn't see any suspension, bracing or brake specs on that evo. do you know if theyve done anything besides motor with it? i'll go back and check it out again when i have more time. thanks for your enthusiasm for the thread. it really makes it worthwhile for me. IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | bruce, His car was already built from the ground up previously. that's probaly why you can't find out about the supsension and so on. Though i guess he is more of a straigt line racer instead of a autocrosser. He originally had a 2.3 liter gt35r that was his daily driver and put out 601 awhp. He just wanted to step up his game. I know he has some videos floating around where he beats 700 hp cobras and such, if you want to see them let me know. Sorry if you feel i'm invading you thread, just wanted to show you that there is a similar project to yours on the darkside. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | update the gt 65 turbo is reinstalled after a bead-blast and rebuild; with an unrestricted oil inlet (again), a enlarged oil outlet and a fresh oil change. i zeroed the trip meter and we'll see how oil consumption goes. we'll do the grounding kit, gauges and install sirius in the next day or so. shoutout to my buddy flycaster who is living in a parallel universe. |
