| Spec C Club | found the intake manifold with a little search ![]() Xcceleration - Subaru WRX STi Forester XT Legacy GT Baja Turbo Street Performance Race Parts They seem way over priced just seen the XX tuning fab's these thing's up also. I could have swore I saw a intake manifold like this on another subaru I've worked on. But theres so many it's hard to remember what it was I think it was a legacy or something. maybe a forester. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...manifolds.html Last edited by boostedrex05; 09-18-2008 at 06:38 PM. |

now that cutn edg is dedicated to the track, we're going to gut the interior right away and finish the cage. next year we'll add cf doors and lexan glass. if and when i get drag racing out of my system, it's going back to andrew for a 6 speed dog box. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (30) | Good thinking Bruce. I told Phil of my heat wrap with gold foil idea and he liked the sound of it because of the added heat wrap effect. Def do all that, and get that fire hosing stuff to protect all the lines and everything in the engine bay. Heat will def be generated from that turbo! The gold foil I believe has the higher rating for heat deflection than the silver one. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | I saw that thing here earlier. I do hope the street price is less than 5k so that I will have to think seriously about buying one. Bruce, please put this on your car so we can see some dyno data and maybe catch a ride in it! Frank |

| Spec C Club | how's this if the 2.5 "RS" is cable throttle. I would think that the manifold will need to be modded. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | update: phil called. he's almost done... but not this week; next week. he also said, they started the motor and it sounds great and he couldn't be happier with the whole thing. since this is another new motor, we're going to have to break it in again. how many break-ins is that, now? i'm going to rack up as many miles as i can when i head down to get it. phil has a major track event the weekend after next down in the southeast. i will probably head down with him and turn it into a major miles-gobbling road trip. when we head back to dc on sunday, i've got a trip to phoenix scheduled for that monday. i'll have to leave the car with phil until i get back while he finishes up the tuning session that was so rudely interupted, i.e., pump, pump + meth, meth + n2o2, c16 + n2o2. why can't anything be easy, eh? still no word on the gt-r.
