Purely curiosity - I know it's not the point, but 3 years of track events in a stock STi would have been cheaper ![]() I saw the car at Andrewtech a bunch of times - I hope I get to see it in motion one of these days! john | |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | i've got a thread on the gt-r purchase over in ot. i just learned something from someone who works for nissan that explains how i got the deal i got. he works for a dealership in ct where he says theyre getting 30k over. IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | actually, rffg, i think we just stumbled on the secret to getting the best price on this thing. on the first and second cars theyre going to get as much as they can but, when theyre down to that 3rd car, it becomes like a labor negotiation getting into the 12th hour; with more pressure on them to get it done. there is a limited number of cars that are being metered out to dealers with the highest markup these dealers have seen as one hell of an incentive to get them moving. i'm sure they can't get deeper into the limited inventory until they sell their initial 3 cars. if i'm right, time it for the 3rd car and offer to split the difference on the msrp with them; or do even better if you can. dead pan your ass off.
