Good luck, amigo. If you can find a GT-R at MSRP, that'd be tough to turn down if you have the discretionary funds. Otherwise, those Teutonic bastards offer some pretty sweet alternatives, and an all wheel drive 335xi might be ticket for where you live...unless you drive a new M3 (which I have) and just say "**** it, gotta have it." I wish it didn't have a V8, though, and they really didn't need to go that route either. All they had to do was modify the 6 lower end a little, and turn up the boost a few pounds. Hey...kinda like our cars, huh?

If I could find a way to explain how irresponsibly stupid this statement was I would applaud my own ingenuity. However, I don't have the ability to grasp the ridiculousness of the statement so I will just say "I disagree with you."

Joe Rogan "Did the leg kicks affect the outcome of the fight?"
Rampage "Naa he just kicked my ass"

That's class.

Oh and I went skydiving!!! Omfg been a lifelong dream, such a rush.

It was in Boulder City, right near the dam.

Good luck in your search for a new road vehicle, you know were all rooting for you.

The wife and I were actually thinking about a gt-r, but we wanted something now, and that wasn't going to happen with the gt-r, so we got a Evo X.

i've never been a vette fan and i live in the wrong locale. besides, every a-hole over 40 trying to reclaim lost boner glory has one. the gt-r will spank a z06 in every parameter. for 100k i'd get the spec-v.

Ah now Bruce, according to some tool that wrote into Road & Track about the article where the GT-R spanked the C6 and 911TT. He quoted the article data that said the C6 is "quicker to 60 and faster in the quarter, and a 1 second + win on a road course does not make a spanking".

I would like the chance to explain to this guy what a 1+ second win on a road course with professional drivers max out these cars is a spanking! isfh

And yeah, Vettes are total geezer cars.

1 second per lap is what people do not understand....

the vette is a great car, but the people that drive them are a little out of my age range, lol.

Easy guys...it's only a matter of time before Burnin4 plops in here and squelches this anti-vette diatribe.

Well Bruce, you have been an example to all of us, and for that I have to say thanks! I have learned a ton from you and been inspired to move forward partially because of your builds influence. You are a true pioneer!

On a side not I actually got to see Cobb's GTR in person, and in track action last weekend, and the car is amazing. We were running a 530hp fully prepped 2400lb track car, and the GTR was on a cat back and a tune.....full 3800lbs! They lapped 3-4 seconds behind us with 70 less hp and 1400lbs more weight! VERY impressive car!

You are right though...they do want the moon for then...the question is...how many more are they going to bring into the country? If they don't up the supply I doubt the price will come down a ton.

I also personally talked to Christian about the tune-ability, and he said that its looking more and more promising what they are going to be able to do with the ECU! 470whp on a mustang dyno at 4000ft on a cat back ait too shabby!

Good luck whatever you decide.

that is part of the calculation i am making as to what i'm willing to pay over msrp. if the supply stays tight, it will probably support the extra 10-20k. on the other hand, you almost always see a change in the supply or demand side over time that drives the price down. i'm beginning to think that is not likely to happen for a few years and the msrp on them will rise anyway.
