You little d1ck piece of sh1t! How dare you say that. How could you expect everything to go smoothly in a build like this? If it were easy everybody would be doing it. Bruce for Pres

I think he was referring to a Porsche GT2. Regardless, Bruce ain't there yet. They go for a little under $200K.

For whatever reason once wants to ascribe, I've always had a gut hunch the basic motor was not quite right. After this, it'll be clear skies and smooth sailing - I can feel it.

not really. the motor was sponsored by cobb but i paid for the motor it replaced and i'm paying for the rebuild. other sponsors have either contributed relatively inexpensive parts or offered discounts on major parts/services. nick at rallysportdirect in particular has helped immensely with far too many areas of the project to even mention them all, inside and outside the car. i made many upgrades and additions that i probably wouldn't have made without him; not to mention myles, phil...i have been truly blessed. if going through hardship flushes out your friends, that is worth more than the hardship costs.

in the end, i have many tens of thousands of money invested. as i mentioned in my "how to get sponsorship" thread, getting sponsorship help only encourages you to spend more of your own money. definately not less.

that it is.
never give up Bruce

Bruce will never EVER give up. I guess he might once its "done" (although we all know no car is done) but then he has fun things to concentrate on like mastering that beast on track

i think i have a standing bet with someone that he'll sell his car long before i sell cutn edg. i'd only get pennies on the dollar for it anyway. i may eventually get another car for the street but i won't sell it, ever.

A GT2 doesn't have 1/1,000,000th the character of cutn edge anyway. who would want that

Certainly not neanderthal character - for that, the STi is the perfect platform. Jeeze...guess I need to grow more hair and stoop a bit more, huh?

the plans are pretty straightforward. phil's got a couple of motors in line ahead of mine but mine is the only install. soon as he's done we'll tune it and get on with whatever is left of the hpde days and events this season. i'd also like to get to a couples meet in the tri-state area.

To covering up epic downfalls with blatant and apparent lies.

With any luck you'll meet the deadline for a couple more hpde events without incident and I won't have to resort to having to pull out the *sad trombone*. Here's to hoping.

For one last beating, I have a difficult time not laughing when this comes from a shemale driving a forester!

Just post some more photos to keep us happy please, Bruce!
