we're still waiting for a title for it. i got the jeep because i couldn't wait any longer and i need something that can negotiate my driveway in the winter. for those who haven't heard me describe it before, it is an 1100 foot long dirt and gravel offroad adventure. when the surplus deisel blazer shows up i'll probably sell this thing.

update:
here's what happens next with the project; we wait until the cam travels round trip between salt lake city and new zealand and then as long as it takes to get the motor to automaster and for them to drop it in. when that happens, i have to get it inspected so i can drive it...don't ask (isfh).

meanwhile, i need to speak with phil about the suitability of the current tune. my guess is that it will be fine until i get i down there to finish the road and dyno tune that went to hell three months ago. the best news is, with the bottom end in great shape after all, i won't have to break it in. when we're back up, except for phil, we really are back up.

when the car gets back to little ricky (remember him?...lol) we have to finish up some loose ends and install the hydramist and nitrous kits before we make it back down to phil in md.

all i can say is, with all this project has been through i hope:

you guys all know how thankful i am for all your support over such a freakishly bizzare road.
we finally get to assault the strip and road courses at the intended level and
cutn edg is back to being my daily driver because that was and is the point of the entire exercise.

as for the disparity in the leakdown tests, i'm not sure what to say other than the builder has spoken and i'm grateful to automaster for taking great care of the project like they have.

i don't "need" a cosworth block and neither does anyone else. they are not the only engine builders out here capable of building a great race motor. did i ever mention i have a cobb pro stage1 shortblock?

i'm curious, where exactly on cutn edg (besides a dog box) do you think i have 125,000 more to spend in order to make it trackworthy and which track is that? a widebody kit, more attention to downforce and paint is about it.
