Dude, don't wait until after your oil change! Just DO IT! It takes like a half hour, tops.

Really? You don't think it'd be good to have some fresh blood in there before I open her up?

What's the difference? I mean, seriously. It's not like you're dropping in a new turbo

I had mine delivered to work, too. I woulda flashed it in the parking lot had I known then what I know now

lol! I'm a weak man, I'm waiting to hear from Majin on this because he said I should change my oil first

You are turning up the boost, so wouldn't it be a good thing to have fresh oil in? I dunno, I guess it's a preference thing...

But, after the boost is turned up, the oil is gonna be in the same condition eventually that it is in now. I mean, I guess if you could change the oil yourself, it would be cool. But, you're getting together with Rev to do it, right? All I'm saying is that I wouldn't be able to wait

my opinion on this (obviously not more than that! ):

i flashed the AP after an oil change. i agree that it is difficult to wait, but i figured that since my engine was going run a little hotter than it did stock, and if my turbo is going to be boosting more than stock, that i wanted nice, clean, thin oil in my engine before i started kicking her ass.

you will obviously find different opinions on this, as we each treat our cars differently - but if your car was mine nandan, i would do the oil first.

That's what I was thinking

I'll stick to my current plan of waiting...we'll see how long it lasts

In any case I'm busy this evening, and unless I can kick her ass and get the ECU schooled, I'm going to wait a bit
