Hmm I was wondering about that but didn't bother checking into it. I'll have to move it...

Problem solved

So I drove around this afternoon for a bit. Around 3k RPM in 3rd if I peg it and go WOT, it spikes to around 19-20 psi and then settles at 18 psi or a hair under. Same in 4th gear. Is this acceptable, or do I need to use the LWG map?

Also, what do you guys recommend setting the warning buzzer for the boost gauge to? Right now it's at 18 and I think that might be too low.

This tank of gas is going to go dry fast

I need to detail the car!

Here's my data log of 3rd gear boost. I'm peaking close to 18 and tapering off to 17 and then to 16.5.

Could be your defi is reading high, might as well use the AP to double check.

Mine does the same thing. Spikes to 1.4 bar, then settles at 1.3. I'm telling you, these gauges read about 1 psi too high. You can confirm it with the live boost reading on the AP.

Or, use the Tari software and your laptop to log like muff did.

Thanks Kurt...I'll have to try out the TARI sometime. Does it also do A/F somehow, or do you still need a wideband O2 sensor?

Mine isn't "peaking" so much as it's spiking. So it'll build boost, swing past 18 (to 19-20ish), beep once, and then drop back to 18 and taper off. Never got a CEL or fuel cut so I think I'm safe

I need to confirm the boost readings, but it's comforting to hear that this happens to you too. What do you set the boost buzzer to?

ALMOST done! I was busy debadging this afternoon and washing her. Still need to polish and wax, I'm saving that for tomorrow morning. I only got the S U B A R U off, because my dad needed the hose so I had to hurry up and wash the car...the WRX stays on for now.

I think the Borla might have been a tad quieter than the Cobb, but then again I've got a DP to add to the sound too Both sound great though!

I haven't driven it since my last post, I was busy debadging and washing Hair dryer + Meguiar's Bug & Tar remover and some elbow grease, and it got it done!

I have the boost warning set to 1.4 bar (which is ~20 psi I think).

I have the oil pressure warning set to 1 bar (14.5 psi).

I am glad everything went smoothly for you. You’re going to love the car more and more! Congrats man! Go celebrate!
Thanks man! Yep I'm very happy with how it turned out. Along with the debadge, gold wheels and new muffler, the rear end doesn't even look like "my" car anymore
