Yeah I think I might do that... I am going to PM the local who works at Firestone downtown and ask him

the bumpstop thing has me worried. i think that a higher spring rate with less drop (than yellows) and lowering plates is the way to go.

btw, kudos for having 15 conversations at once

So would you cut your stops (or get prodrive stops) with Pinks or not?

Thanks!

This is the kit I bought:

Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit
Code:ZKIT-1
Price: $84.70

It seems pricey, but you actually get a LOT of product for the money. Follow their detailed instructions (including washing the car with Dawn before you clay bar) and you should get good results

I run pinks w/o shorter bumpstops and my handling is still pretty damn good. I wouldn't worry.

Next time get real impact sockets. I got a set from Craftsman for like $30 on sale.

wow 4.5" of clearance with the lip on? Did you get the lowering version of Racecomp's camber plates?

With my Tarmac springs (5mm lower then the JDM Pinks) and the Spec-C Type-RA struts I have 6" of clearance when I have the lip installed. Would have thought you would have had a lot more clearance.

I may have to sell my lip, I don't think with the ghetto paving job and all the bumps to get onto the driveway @ my new place that I'll be able to have my lip and not have it get ripped off.

Yeah, impact sockets are on the list... I spent a LOT as it was on tools (including an unexpected extra $30 for a new impact and $50 for GearRatchets) so I was just trying to minimize my immediate expenditures.

Yes, they are RCE lowering camber plates, so they drop an additional 3/8" ((3/8) inches = 9.52500 millimeters, thanks google!). So theoretically I should only be 4.5mm lower than you.

4.5" of clearance on the sides of the V-limited, closer to 5.5" in the middle of the front end. Do you have a replica lip?

I scraped the lip first thing coming out of my parents' driveway Fine otherwise on the road though. Without the lip on I have no clearance issues.

Nice looking setup! are you using the newer version of the rallyarmor mudflaps which are shorter? Do your mudflaps scrape at all?

We lowered the flaps. Then raised them. Same ones, just redrilled.
