Especially since I'm not making use of them for a-x or on the track, right?

Nah this weekend is really busy for me, I'll barely have time for the oil change. Bars will go in in a month!

watter wetter simply makes your coolant more efficient.

you can get it at any auto-parts store for a few bucks. just pour it on in and you can push her a bit harder in the summer heat.

^ Lawlercakes... at least for now... heh, idk if chicago hobos are aggressive, but those whitelines could mess someone up, plus the whiteline finish is so nice you probably wont harm the paint on em

Hmm, I dunno if I should trust Redline products based on their track record on our forums

Anyone else want to back up Ben here?

waste of money. where you live, you have no choice but to run antifreeze (because of the hot and the cold temps you see).

from their tests (chevy small block, cast block, alum heads, 7200 RPM for 3 hours):

50% water + 50% antifreeze = 228° F

50% water + 50% antifreeze + water wetter = 220° F

for an 8° F (~3.5%) decrease in coolant temperature, i think that is a big waste of money.

don't forget, if you were a full on race car, and made money racing, then i would say to get the WW - but you are a DD (although you don't drive it much ) and that difference wouldn't have any noticeable impact except for in your wallet.

also, as you already stated, redline has never shown (on these forums) to be worth spending the money on from their track record here.

Good points!

Our summers are usually 70 (often 80+) and VERY humid. Does that change your thought process at all? I doubt it, but I figure I'll throw that out there

nope. don't forget, water has a high surface tension, but once it is mixed with something else, the properties of water is changed, and surely the surface tension is decreased as well.

redline has to market their products just like every other company. i respect that, but unless you are making money racing your car, and need every advantage you can get (WW being one), then get it.

in my opinion, people using WW in a DD, are only padding Redline's pockets.

You mean, de-padding their pockets

Cool, I probably wasn't going to do it anyways, I'm a bit weary throwing random **** in the engine.
