You pay, I'll mod! One of us won't be working part time when back in school (the one with the better car, naturally!).

And your RS had less mods when starting college than my STi will when I go back to school!
You think me with a full time job won't have an EVO that will molest your STi in two years? We'll see. Ya I was 17 when I went to Michigan, you will be 25 not really a fair comparison. Besides you could have a full blown show/track car I would still harass you about not modding it. haha

No amount of money will change they gayness of your Evo

You live in California and pay out the ass even worse than Chicago...I know what my mod "budget" is like, I'll be surprised if you throw all that much into the car (surprise me bish!). Besides, you're a ricer, first stop on your mod path will be big expensive wheels and then you'll be broke

Age doesn't affect how broke one is in school

So, you gonna buy an Audi? Make sure it's an automatic.

Eh, you have to pay for that ballin' ass condo. I only have a humble apartment (well and a condo in Atlanta for the moment). I'm alright money wise, but I definitely don't have a ton to throw into cars. Although with the massive lack of love that Cali girls are giving me, the car may get a lot more attention than I would like. haha I might scoop up an RS4 in a few years, I dunno I'm just gonna focus on the EVO for now. I have been eyeing some GTR face Advans pretty hard...

I have no idea what "GTR face Advans" look like, but Advans are sweet so I'll trust your judgment (even though you did buy a friggin' Evo).

Just means they have the "bulging" spokes.

i don't think "bulging" is the right word.

the GTR face is normally associated with a very concave face.

most current Advans have a slight bulge even without the GTR face.

which offset you thinking of getting in the RS?

wait, don't tell me.....18x10 +25mm front and 18x9 +29mm rear, with a 265/35 18 all around.

or maybe just 18x9 +29mm all around with a 245/35 18 AD07....

you may not be crazy enough to run a 10" in the front on the street though. <was that a challenge? nahh....>

and i don't care if he's your friend he's fair game!

Ya I mean you are right but it makes them look like they bulge out of the fenders to me. Just symantics really.

I dunno, depends on whether I go with springs or decide to get coilovers and roll the fenders. I will stuff the largest tire in there that I can most likely.

"out of" the fenders would be a combination of the offset and the spoke design of the "GTR" face. and we all know it doesn't matter who's right it only matters what it looks like to you.

tire isn't the concern i know you can run a 275 on that car with some fender rolling and the proper offset and have it not poke.

so it really will be if you decide to take the easy way (springs) or the fun way (coilovers)

are you making fun of my car inparticular or just subaru in general?

care to come down south and take on some "rice ass subies" at an autox?
