Haha! I'll keep that in mind for my next user title

(it's temporary, I'm hoping to get EGT installed next spring).

Thanks man! Yeah, I like it...though it put a nice dent in the bank and took away from money for other (*cough* suspension *cough*) mods

Did you get those RCE springs yet? I'm eager to hear what you think.

Hmm that picture is misleading, because the screen wasn't touching the shifter...the trim around the HU might have been touching but the screen definitely wasn't. The base of the deck was resting on the plastic trim around the center console, and touching the shift boot...but I made sure it wasn't putting excessive force on the shift lever or anything.

Yeah I didn't tell too many folks I got the HU, I figured I'd post up on IWSTI once it was all installed Took a few weeks to get the time to get the iPod part installed, so that was the delay too.

There's benefits to the blogs, but yeah I think a lot of people like the journal format

If you want iPod control, the 2006 Eclipse units are probably a better bet.

I like that the Eclipses are DVD + Navi in one unit (without a separate box like the Kenwoods). Lower cost, and easier installation.

Thanks man! I originally didn't think I'd use navi much, but now that I have it, I use it quite a bit! It's already gotten me out of a few jams where I might have gotten lost (or run out of gas since I couldn't have found a gas station without it!)

Thanks Jet! You should get one for your car so that you can play movies for your kid while you drive him/her around!

Wow that looks great! I'm saving up for the AVN-6600 since I REALLY want navi... plus being able to watch a DVD while stuck in traffic would be cool.
