The tint is so that people can't see you crying inside your car when Cobb tells you it'll be another week before your DP ships?

The spray seals the wrap and protects it from water/dirt etc. That's what the marketing material says anyways. Considering how easily the wrap comes apart when it's cut, I think the spray is a good idea to keep things a bit sealed. Also, that copper wrap is a mess, and having a coat over it might make it a bit nicer to handle (without getting that copper stuff all over your hands )

WOW. Good Luck on the down pipe bolt that come off the back side of the turbo. Mine had only 650 miles and it was a PITA. Use the spray. Had to remove the TMIC and use a breaker bar. But the results are awesome. Performance and the sound...

Yep I'll have the TMIC off for the Defi oil pressure sender to get installed, so I'll do the downpipe at the same time. I'm going to be applying PB Blaster liberally for sure

He meant wrap on the cat. I think he was embellishing a little, but essentially, I think people's concerns with having the cat wrapped is that it will get even hotter (as the wrap will insulate the cat) and there are concerns that the cat material would degrade over time from excess heat and then "kill the cat." I don't know if fire is possible, but it would certainly require a new downpipe (so I've been told) so I'm not going to risk it

Well, I cut the wrap off the cat tonight. The wrap literally fragments the minute it tears/cuts, stupid fiberglass stuff gets everywhere

I also sprayed damn near the entire can of ThermoTec spray onto her, she's out on the patio drying now

I was stupid, did it without a mask of any kind and now all I can smell is aerosol My boogies have black specks
