Already have Oil Pressure I'll buy EGT down the road. It feels like less hit on the wallet that way

I dunno, nan. Those two gauges are gonna be very lonely without their EGT brother next to them!

Plus, you're going to have an empty hole in the pod.

You don't want stuff falling in there, right?

I'll block it off somehow, until I can afford the EGT gauge + install (no way in hell I'm tapping the header myself )

I took my TXS DP to a local muffler shop, and they tapped it, welded the bung on, in 5 minutes. Actually it only took one minute, but the first 4 minutes were spent trying to drill stainless steel with a dull bit. Once they changed the bit, bingo. They offerred it for free, but I gave them $20. I would imagine your car will have to go on a lift, so they will charge you some nominal fee.

EGT is usually done on the exhaust manifold. Wideband is done on the DP for AFRs...right?

Right, and your exhaust header is mild steel, which would take a minute for a shop to handle.

Yep, and that's what I plan to have done. Don't want to try that myself...just get a bung and I can do the rest
