IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2004 Trader Rating: (0)     |  First off, I'd like to say hello to everyone here on the forums and also THANK YOU for sharing all of the info which has helped me to make a very educated purchase... Well, I finally went out and got my STi... I received my new (6 miles on the odometer) 2005 WR Blue STi on Thursday 12/23. This is definitely the best Christmas present I've ever gotten for myself! She was delivered to the dealership earlier that day with the Gold BBS wheels, STi Short Throw Shifter, STi Floor Mats, Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass and Homelink, Security System Upgrade, Arm Rest Extension, and Wheel Lock Set. I got the STi for $32,280 including tax (7.5%) and licensing! I negotiated with the fleet manager for about three hours before getting the price but it was worth every minute.  I set aside an extra $5K for post break-in mods and I am currently thinking about ordering the following... STi "Pink" Springs w/Hardened Strut Top Mounts K&N Typhoon Intake (or maybe the Injen PTRS1201P if they can validate the HP gains) Turboback Exhaust (still deciding on which one) STi V-Limit Spoiler JDM Fog Light Conversion and maybe a Turbo XS UTEC... I will also be ordering wheels but I have not decided on the brand/style yet (Gun Metal LE-37T's wrapped in S-03's would be nice but I'm still deciding). | S204 Racer | welcome your taste is impeccible (but im biased!) dont forget to get a digi-cam with some of that extra funding..... pics are a must! (((i recommend a decent EM solution before the TBE))) |
