Default demonrage's 2007 WRB STi

Hello all,

Welcome to my 07 WRB (needs a wash after a run through the rain). Not too much in the way of mods yet but it will be continuously expanded as funding allows .

Mods so far:

ECU/Engine:
- Cobb Accessport v2: Stage 1 OTS map v1.04

Suspension:
- Whiteline 24mm adjustable swaybars (Front and Rear)
- Racecomp Engineering black springs
- STi Group N front top mounts
- Kartboy rear endlinks
- Performance alignment: -1.0 front camber, 0 toe

Gauges:
- Custom electronic gauge mounted inside the stock clock pod. Nice 2 line display; displays vacuum and boost up to 23psi on first line, and a bar below that fluctuates with vacuum/boost. Gauge color is normally red but changes to blue when the over boost threshold is reached (set to 16.5psi currently).

Picked up the electronics here for about $130. Great little unit, came with basically everything i needed except that it was designed for 1/8" hose connections so i had to pick up some 1/4" tubing, tees, and a reducer. Some tinted plexi replaced the stock clock unit, fastened the new display behind it, and tapped a 1/8" hole for the programming button. Picture of it in action:

Stereo/AV System:
I wanted everything as hidden as possible to retain as much cargo space as possible. Amps are located under the false trunk floor in the spare tire well. Alpine's portable navigation unit (in docking station) / HU control module + line driver located under driver and passenger seats respectively.
- Alpine IVA-D310 Head Unit with STi background

- Alpine R-Series 6.5" Component speakers (front)

- Alpine R-Series 5.25" Coaxial speakers (rear): Doors had to be modified slightly to fit the 5.25" speaker, but in the end it worked out very nicely. Door panels fit with no clearance/rubbing issues.

- Alpine R-12 subwoofer in a vented (long port) enclosure
- Phoenix Gold Equalizer EQ-215i

- Diamond D6 600.4 amplifier (front and rear speakers)
- Phoenix Gold XS-2500 amplifier (subwoofer): bridged @ 4ohms since i don't need the additional power, and also to retain a cleaner sound with the vented enclosure
- Audio Force power cell - Acts as an intermediate power source for the amplifiers. Acts as an electrical buffer between the power hungry amplifiers and the car's electrical system.

- Alpine Sirius Satellite radio module (SIR-ALP1): hidden behind HU

- Alpine Blackbird Portable Navigation (PMD-B100): attached to PMD-DOK1 docking station for control through HU

- Phoenix Gold PLD-1 Pro Line Driver: boosts HU line level output to 4v+
- Alpine HU Control Unit

- A/V input RCA jacks retrofitted into stock "aux" input plate in front of shifter. Removed the mini jack module and fitted 3 RCA jacks in. Connected to HU control module's auxiliary input. Click here to see larger version of picture below (forum keeps changing the link below to ebay).

Other:
- Valentine 1 radar detector: hardwired

- Hella Twin Supertones (85115): Mounted symmetrically behind left and right front grills

- JDM Auto-Intercooler Spray Switch: Re-used existing IC button harness for now. wired switch pins to pick up voltage for the LED to activate when button is pressed. Boost reference version to be done when my 2nd wiring harness arrives.

- DRL Disable: longer HID lamp life ftw

To Do List:
- Full turboback exhaust. Currently looking at the Maddad catted bellmouth downpipe and whisper catback.
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- APS 65mm CAI
- Pro Tune @ P&L
- Kartboy Short Shifter + bushings
- Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
- RCE camber plates
- Alpine IPod control module (for access to my music collection via the HU)

pictures posted. she's a bit dirty at the moment and i'll be sure to get a clean shot up after a claybar and wax/polish application

anyone have any favorites as far as clay bars and wax/polishing systems go? i've always used meguire's products in the past but haven't been so happy with their liquid waxes over the past few years. Is Klasse's system good? Are there better? A nice deep (maybe wet look?) shine would be great to see on the rally blue imo
