Default carbing, perrin, cusco, agency power, and more items installed!!!!

I have been working on and driving my dad's evo enough recently to make it feel like my own. I think it deserves it's own journal as well

The main focus of the car at this point is to be a strong weekend warrior for street and occasional auto-x fun. We are planning on keeping it as stock looking as possible on the outside for the ultimate "sleeper" look and in order to not get unwanted attention from the local popo

MOD LIST

Engine/tuning
HKS RS intake
Espelir catless 3" downpipe
Test pipe
Greddy evo2 catback
HKS 272/272 cams
AEM adj. cam gears
Hallman manual boost controller
Harman motive protune
Fumoto oil drain valve

Suspension
Agency Power 27mm rear sway bar
Perrin adjustable rear endlinks
Cusco rear strut bar
Carbing 6pt lower arm bar

Interior
Factory radio relocation kit
Defi Link II controller
Defi boost, egt, and oil pressure gauges
Custom MBC mount
WC Lathe Works one of a kind alumn. shift knob
Hardwired V1
Broadway extra-wide flat mirror

Exterior
plan on leaving it as is

Power output
As of right now, the car puts down a very conservative and rich 330whp/330wtq. There is a lot left on the table in terms of tuning...the afrs are super low. I will try to find the dyno plot and post it up as well.

We plan on getting coilovers or springs in the near future. Still deciding on what brand and set-up to go with. Then the focus will turn to power. As of right now, after talking to AMS, we're thinking of the 3076r turbo kit. Should put down well over 450 whp on a dynojet

Here are some current pictures. I will take some better ones after I do a full detail within the next few weeks.

Default Re: AMG Destroyer's Evo!! - carbing, perrin, cusco, angency power items installed

Update:
Today M3Jedi77 and I did a major suspension overhaul on the evo.

First installed a Cusco Type OS rear strut bar. Then proceeded to install an Agency Power 27mm rear sway bar. This thing is BEEFY! AFAIK it's the largest bar that will fit on the evo, and it's SOLID - not hollow . I chose to use Perrin adjustable endlinks to replace the wimpy stock ones.
Then installed was the Carbing 6pt. lower arm bar.

The combination of these parts created quite the thrill on the test drive. I have never driven a more planted car around corners. With the rear sway on the "medium" setting, understeer seems nonexistent. The lower arm bar definitely reduces a ton of body roll and makes the car just grip from turn in to exit.

So overall I'm very happy with the mods installed today. However, unfortunately the Carbing underpanel ran into a glitch - the front bracket won't fit properly, so I'll have to look into that.

I'll have some pics up tomorrow of this week's round of modding. Next up is a front engine mount, front strut bar, and hopefully KW V3 robispec tuned coilovers.

Also installed a Blox front engine mount a couple days ago. Very noticable difference, especially for 75 bucks! Easier to engage the clutch, makes high rpm shifting easier, and feels more planted around corners.

^stock versus "Blox"

Here are a couple other pics that I've been lagging on posting up. It's sorta hard to get good pics of the underside of a car, so bear with me - I'm no pro..

^Carbing 6pt lower arm bar

^reflective taped oil pan and the beloved fumoto oil drain valve

^looks fairly stock huh?

^Agency Power 27mm adj. RSB

^You can catch a glimpse of the Cusco Type OS rear strut bar

Next up is an 10 piece brass shifter bushing set, and a B&M non-adj. short shift lever. Should tighten things up significantly...
