Default Jimbobrand's Wagon and Subaru Ownership History

Hi, I'm James Brand VIII but everyone calls me Jim or Jimbo. At the moment I own a 2002 Subaru WRX wagon but it isn't my first Subaru nor will it be my last. As of now I am not a STI owner but as you can see I love STI parts and I plan on owning one as soon as I finish college.

I have owned a a few other Imprezas in the past like my 1st Subaru a 2002 WRX that I bought new with 11 miles but it didn't stay stock long, my goal was to build a V7 STI limited 2 but I had to sell it so I could go back to school full time:

I then bought this 2000 2.5RS while on vacation in Colorado for the Pike's Peak hill climb:

The modding bug hit me again and a little over a year later it looked like this:

But since I'm very impulsive and love to try different types of cars and I really missed having a turbo car I traded a friend of mine for this 2002 VW GTI 1.8T:

While the VW satisfied my craving for turbo power and had excellent fuel efficiency I really missed having a Subaru so I traded the Vee Dub for this:

And again the modding bug hit me and slowly I started to make my newest car my own creation. I used parts I had left over from my first two Subarus as well as parts I had been collecting while I had the VW.

Pics of it lowered with Prodrive springs on 18x7.5 Rolta Tarmac II's custom painted with a darker gold:

Pics of the sedan front conversion:

Now with Spec-C Roof Vent:

The only downside to this newest car is that at 126,000+ miles the engine is burning some oil so it is going to be replaced in the next couple weeks with a '04 STI longblock and a VF34 with a custom open source tune.

Thanks, I love the versatility of the wagon after having both a sedan and a coupe. At the moment a STI 6spd isn't in the cards but the WRX 5spd should hold up if its not abused. I'm really leaning toward the V1-6 JDM WRX/STI 5spd and 4.11 final drive as an option. There are tons of people in the 2.5RS community running some high powered STI swaps for many miles with those transmissions without issue.
