Well I am also the owner of an '04 rex, about 3 months ago I hit a deer in it doing about 80mph. After hitting a deer that hard and still being able to drive the rest of the 30 miles back to my house I decided that if the car was totaled I would be upgrading to an STi. I found my newest love in Dallas, she was gorgeously dressed in WR Blue with gold shoes. I test drove her and then that same day took her back to my place. We have been in love ever since. I was able to get my rex fixed as well so now I am the proud owner of 2 subies.

Well update....gettting a new Engine based on a lapse in judgement on my part and a bad oil change on the part of a lube shop. Well getting a gruppe-S rebuild and cosworth cams.
Will update on the build as it continues. Still really pissed off though at myself and the oil change place.

I will be dynoing her after the FMIC and CAI are put on...didn't want to put to much stress on the turbo because I just installed it this last weekend...break in period sucks sometimes

for now, no, maybe some point in the future the SZ49 in cool weather say around 55 deg. pegs my DEFI boost gauge, getting a re-tune when the FMIC and CAI are put on, it was hot outside when I was tuned so it was tuned for that...damn Texas weather!

Sooooooooo....I pulled a really stupid move last friday...

So had my oil changed yesterday....was in San Antonio...so I didn't do it myself. Which by itself was the dumbest thing I have done in awhile. Well the place I took it to didn't put the right filter on which caused my engine to be oil starved...which then led to oil bein blown up into my engine, all around the pistons, up into the air intake box and the intercooler.

The good news is that I am getting a built engine that I don't have to pay for. Going to be installing Cosworth Cams too!

The bad news I am without my car for about 2 weeks
