so how i got my new love, on Feb. 10th i got into a horrible car accident. my car was totalled by a one ton dodge ran duelly that ran a red light. No brakes no horn, hit the passenger side of my car at about 50 or 60. i got out and walked away with a fractured cheek and a eye floor that was 95% shattered.

anyways,
after this it gave me the opportunity to start car searching. i looked at an 07 obp sti first, was still new. then i contemplated an 08 but couldn't go for the body style so much. even looked at an 08 evo gen x, but didn't like how it handled compared to the 07 limited sti i drove right before it, #23. i want that sti so bad but the owner decided to keep it instead of getting and evo gen x, don't blame him.

then i proceed to look at an AW 06 that had a wrx wing swap on it, but couldn't get financed for it. and while i was trying to my 05 sti showed up on the lot. i test drove it and loved it. that day got financed for it and drove her off the lot. that was on march 19th. a month later and i still love everyday i wake up and see her down in my parking lot.

it took me about 2 weeks to give in and get my exhaust done and cobb apv2.

Thanks for checking out my journal.

yeah wasn't fun had to have surgery to fix it. now have a titanium brace on my cheek that holds the plastic medpore pad under my eye.

the old car was an '07 toyota corolla s. minus tint it was stock, didn't see a point in doing anything to that car.

so come to find out i'm in need of a new clutch... i've pretty much decided on act heavy duty pressure plate, street performance clutch, with the streetlite flywheel. no just have to wait on some money by the middle of this week then i'll get it

on another note the hail damage on my car has finally been claimed on insurance, $3200+ in damage. question is now should i go with getting the hood fixed with pdr, or use the money from the cost of fixing the hood and going with a carbon fiber rc style, or fiberglass oem.

thing about the fiberglass is it is cheaper, but also comes in just a gloss black color ready for paint. and i don't think it will match up with the rest of my car if i try to match color.

so not exactly sure what i should do on that one.
