Default Fletch's 07 STi UPDATED IN RED!

Welcome to my journal. Its about time I made one of these and I figure it can be a work in progress just like our awesome cars, the STI. I have to say that I have been impressed ever since I first sat in this beautiful car to about an hour when I went for a drive. Since this was my first stick shift, I knew I had to take it easy and learn how to drive a car from the basics.

With practice and patience, I learned how to drive my car. A few friends that were car enthusiasts were helpful along with coming here to iwsti.com to expand my knowledge. Here are a few pictures of the day I got this beautiful 2007 Urban Grey Subaru wrx STi:

I then got the urge to do some tinting so I decided to go with 15 on the front and 5 (limo) on the rears. Costed about 180 through a friend at a car audio sound shop. I probably should have went with limo the whole way around because having 15 is dark enough to be pulled over anyways The tinter even helped me out with the tint ticket I later got! Heres a few pictures of the tint:

UPDATE ! After a month and a half after I got out of college for summer I finally got the urge to work for my downpipe. I bought it off of a member off of nasioc and installed it with a few subaru enthusiasts. One of the friends that helped has the 07 sti and the Helix catted downpipe so it was a fairly easy install. We modified the heatshield so that it would fit. I brought along my apv2 and flashed it right after installing.

Turned on the key and gave it a rev and WOW. This thing has changed. The recent power gain of stage 2 is a great addition to an already great car. I cannot wait to get a catback as soon as funds are sufficient.

Current Power Modifications
+Cobb Tuner V2 Stage 1 v1.03 CA
+Helix v3 Catted Downpipe
+K&N Drop-in Air Filter
Summer Modifications

+Debadge trunk of Impreza and Subaru emblems
->I would be interested in a trunk trade of some sort so offer up! Anywhere in California!
+Subtle sounding exhaust ( Still looking for brands!)
+Harmon Motive Tune

Thank you for looking at my journal and I will continue to update with pictures to keep everyone posted!

Updated Current Power Modifications and Summer Modifications to what I am looking for next. First thing will be the debadging of my trunk with the cat back exhaust afterwards. Ill continue to update as things get further down the road.

I have an invidia downpipe (catless) on my 05, and install / fit / finish was immaculate. The old TurboXS downpipe i had on my bugeye didn't fit nearly as well, and caused boost creep even though i had a cat in my exhaust.

I'm a fan of the invidia exhaust products, but can't speak to others that I haven't tried.

Jesse

p.s. DEFINITELY get it coated or wrapped...i didn't before i installed it (was impatient), and I'm regretting it now. Gonna have to pull it out and get it coated i think.
