Default The Bolony's WRX Journal

Well, I had a base RSX as my first car, and I had started working right out of high school. I saved a bunch of money, and traded in my car so I could buy the wrx. Got it brand new at Thousand Oaks Subaru.

RSX

Me picking up the WRX that same day:

Me signing the papers

Next thing I did was get tint

Then I couldn't handle not hearing that boxer engine rumble, so I purchased my favorite part on my car, Espelir Catback. The day I got it, after work that night I installed it with the help of my cousin and buddy from work. I also swapped for 05 tail lights

The cleanest it would ever be.

Next was springs, and blackout headlights.

Then I got in on the Ravspec carbon fiber v-limited lip group buy

Then after taking the car for service at subaru, one of the mechanics drove the car onto the lift, but destroyed the front lip

Luckily, they were cool about it, and offered to buy me a new one. I opted for the authentic v-limited lip

Next was the HID's

Then was the JDM rain guards, but I was given wagon ones, which are a bit shorter than sedan ones.

Then I went with the Pioneer AVIC D3, which was a fantastic purchase.

Then I took a break for a little bit, but not too long. Next I got me an egt and boost gauge. Omori was the choice, highly recommended by Daniel, because he uses the same setup.

Love them, very accurate and match the interior lights.

Then after spending a year or more looking for the right wheel, I finally made a decision

Here she is last week washed

Can't forget the bolony plate

I'm getting it centered so I should have it soon.

By the way, the dealer destroying your old lip... must have been destiny because the VL is where it's at.

Yeah thats what I thought too. I was surprised they were going to pay the 465 that it cost from Rallysport Direct cause I only spent about 250 on the carbon fiber one.

It's great. Yes it does come with the navi. Only thing is you can't play a cd and use the navi at the same time. But if you get the ipod hook up, then you are all set.
