Sorry, my bumper was basically being ripped off because of the rubbing issues. I put a LOT of miles on my car, so I couldn't wait any longer really... A good number of clips were already broken and my bumper is sort of loose.

Your ride looked really clean with those TE37s and that drop... It's a shame you had to resort back... Do you still rub a little bit with passengers in the car even with the 5 spoke stockers? (what is the offset on the stock ones?)

I plan on getting a more aggressive 35mm drop along with +40mm offset 18x8.5 wheels (using stock dunlops) in the future... Is fender rolling recommended for this kind of set up???

I also look forward to seeing your car with some nice white rims... White on White is awesome ^.^

stock offset is +55
Fender rolling I don't think would be necessary with +40mm 18x8.5 . If I recall correctly he had +35 8.5" on his volks.

18x8.5 +30 TE37s... Fenders had to be rolled in the rear.

I don't know if I'm going for some white TAs, but I'm definitely going to get another set of rims in the future. Just need to sell the TE37s and then buy a brand new set, with a less aggressive offset.

It's the Civic Type-R Spoiler, not an 08 STI spoiler... Subaru copied Honda if anything, as Honda had the design first. They're not identical, but they look QUITE similar.

And John, I had some white gramlights on my EP Hatch if you remember... They were a ***** to keep clean on low dust Honda brake pads. I'd have back problems from bending down and cleaning my rims every 50 miles I travel with the STI brake pads, haha.

We shall see!

no no... it was a 1998 or something, and a guy had bought a 08 STi spoiler and attached it to the car. it looked goofy because it was slightly too big.

2002-2005 Civic Type-R wing looks nearly identical to the 08 STI wing. How are you sure it's an 08 STI wing? I would guess it's a lot more likely that he stayed honda, even though the 02-05 Type-R wing will likely not fit on an EK hatch (96-00)

I'm not saying you're wrong, because you would know better at this point, I don't know anything other than what you told me. I'm just saying, I think they would have stayed Honda rather than buy an expensive ass STI wing and try to retrofit it into their EK Hatch.

I parked next to him and the wings are identical... the LED tail light and the window sprayer... the obsidian black pearl paint... so unless Subaru ripped off honda THAT BAD... I think he just got a spoiler from somewhere.

also his wing was flat along the top like the STi wing -- not arched like the Type-R wing

You're right, my apologies. I didn't know you knew that much about the EP-R wing.
