I'd rather just bite a 2-3000 dollar loss on selling the car at this point. There's way too many issues coming up on the 08's ecu/motor balance.

paikman: the 08s blowing pistons if you redline all the time, it's an issue subaru sent out a reflash for... check with your dealer

That's their lawyers wording and carefully masking a bigger problem. There already were issues before this reflash on people with unflashed to stage2.
I'm sure the flash does help the car run great stock.
I don't want to run stock power.

Not sure, depends if the car itself gets sold through private sale or not after I get the dealer re-flash. If it's through private I may buy nothing and just drive my DD for the next 2 years while at uva main.

The $$$$$$$$$ you are going to loose selling the car could be put towards a built motor if you don't want to run stock power

Just a thought anyway

Went to Ptuning "real" dyno again yesterday..
Couldn't get a clean pass off due to load, sent an email to Clark Turner and got an updated map (free of charge of course) that has my boost over-cut higher.
for comparison purpose, stock i put down 200whp/200wtorque on this dyno, shows you how low it reads.
Comparing to my MachV dynojet numbers last time(280whp/330wtorque with DP and OTS stage2), the new numbers seem inline- (290whp / 345 wtorque converted to dynojet) , with a LOT smoother powerband.
I am thinking a custom tune would've netted me maybe 15-20 more torque, but my peak HP would definetely be around the same.
