..::My STI 08' Arrived to Dubai in UAE::..

Hi there,

couple of days i've received my delivery form US which was brand new 08' STI as it is not available in our reagion through the passed years.

I took those quick shoots for the car through my mobile phone.

meanwhile there is no plans in my mind for modifing it as what i did with my 05' STI ..

Congrats!

I think you should at LEAST flash to a OTS Stage 1 map since the Stock Tune is not that good. This will allow your motor to run healtier and better then it did with the stock tune.

What octane fuel do you have in the UAE? How much per L?

we do have 95 octane
price per US gallon = 1.63$ approx.
1 US gallom = 3.78 L

Why is the front license plate on the '08 square as opposed to rectangular on the '05?

One of them is Cobb and you can check out Perrin for the other one.

Check their website to see if they have your octane rating.

I would highly suggest you doing a Stage 1 flash ASAP.

Wow, gas is really cheap there! As I should know why. hehe.

I'm not sure if they have a 95 octane map.

I'm sure if he calls them and throws down some money they can make him a 95 octane map. But I'm not sure if this is possible or not?

Congratulations on the beautiful car! I was just hired by a construction company in Abu Dhabi and I am currently selling my '04 STI (see Cars for sale), and was planning to buy an '08 from over there!
Are you sure they don't sell them in Dubai or Abu Dhabi? If so, I might just stuff my container with a US model STI! Please advise as I need to act soon before I leave.
Naturally, after owning a REX for a few years, I can't imagine switching to another type of car.

I've been yesterday to our dealer and they mentioned that it's possible to be available in 2-3 months but no confirmation on that. They even did not start accepting any booking.

i advise you to bring your car if you are in a hurry ..

we have both 95 octane gas and 93 if I'm not mistaking ..

we call them Super for the 95 and Special for the other one which i believe is 93
