IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | 18x8.5 +30et ... I put the stock 5 spokes (18x8.5 +55et) back on. I agree and really liked them on the car, even the handling was nice compared to the heavy ass stock rims, but I was having some rubbing issues even after rolling my fenders. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 Trader Rating: (1) | I agree... especially on 8.5 inch rim. I think Midnit got em cause he got a good deal and they came from an Evo owner which explains the low offset. If you gonna go lower than 40 offset then go with a 9 inch or wider rim.... plus its an 08 .. go wider I say ![]() Nothing wrong with low offset if its for looks... |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (11) | besides it prematurely wearing your bearings and having fitment/rubbing issues ![]() what is the WIDEST wheel the 08s can fit and with what size tire? 9.5 with 265's, does that sound right? |

People rocking 18x9 +29 are fine, but I was not so fortunate. Funny how that little bit makes a world of difference. ![]() I'll sell these and then the plans are for some Advan TC2's, 18x9 or 18x9.5. Brand new this time, **** buying used, I keep getting ****ed over by shady people. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | ***UPDATE*** So, I went to the track for my first time ever this past Friday, participated in Friday At The Track at Summit Point Raceway. It was a blast, I had an amazing time for the first two sessions of the day. Broke for lunch, and came back ready to rip it up for the last two sessions too.... 5-6 laps or so into my third session, I miss the line coming out of turn6 too hot and found a ditch 150ft or so off-track. ![]() All things considered, I'd say I'm pretty damn lucky! I drove straight to the dealership from the track and dropped it off to get an estimate. This is the damage (not great, only cell phone pics) from the car in front of the dealership. I had already snapped the bumper and sideskirts back onto the car at this point. ![]() ![]() It looks like everything just popped off and broke a couple clips here and there. Everything should pop right back into place, but the bumper is scraped up something awful underneath that mud/dirt. I got my estimate back today and the total is $1656.28... $686.95 of which is parts, the rest is labor and paint. So I'm faced with this dilemma...
What would you do? Also, I'm not really sure what the options are for new bumpers, but at this point, I wouldn't mind investigating and replacing it for a better looking one. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
