He's going to school for photography and that picture is this week's project for him.

The picture itself is actually about 10-11 different shots, each taken with a 30 second exposure and a remote flash, that we used at different angles to get the lines just right.
Damn, that's a baller! And that's definitely a photo shoot! I just have a simple point and shoot camera.

I got 3 of 4 of them... Mail ****ed up the last package I guess, I've got to go pick it up tomorrow. They're a bit dirty, but aside from that, they're flawless.

Thanks very much, we're having another shoot soon, now that I've got the volks on.

Now, unfortunately, I guess this is what you can expect when you buy used **** (especially from an EVO guy). I went and have the rims mounted today and apparently two of the rims are slightly bent. Nor did I receive the RAYS lugs that he said he would be sending along with them. I PM'd him about the lugs yesterday, he's sending em now, since I asked, I guess. I will be PMing him about the bent rims, and see if he knows what's up.

The shop told me before mounting them that it would likely not even be noticeable, and so far, I haven't been able to tell, but I will still probably be picking up a brand new set of rims sometime later this year and I guess the TEs will become my winter rims.

Anyways, here are a couple quick pics I took this afternoon before the weather got ****ty here.

Being that the offset is 22mm lower than stock, they fill out the wheel well quite nicely, as far as horizontal spacing goes. I still need a drop, as there's about an inch or so gap between the tire and fender.

Yeah, I'd like to drop it an inch or so all around, should look much better without getting slammed.

car looks great
a couple of questions...

was your choice on these volks cause you got a deal on em?

I am asking bcause if I had an 08 I been pusshing the envelope a bit... at least go to a 9 inch rim with a nice lower offset since on the 08s this can be done on the stock suspension..

Good choice on wheel but the 08s eat up 8.5 inch rims like so easy

Yes, basically. I got a deal on em thinking they were "mint" as advertised, couldn't pass it up. If I didn't pick these up, I probably would have gotten some 18x9-18x9.5 Advan TC2s in a month or so from now.

The offset on these is pretty low, I wouldn't really go much lower on a wider rim from what I've read.
