I heated it up, but the problem wasn't stretching, the problem was having to much film in that spot... I'm not sure where you started with yours, but I did the bottom first and worked my way up, that's why the bottom came out great.

I used a hair dryer, didn't have a heat gun. I also soaped the film, applied, got it lined up, bent it around the edges, then heated the film to harden it in place. At least, that's how it seemed to work for me.

I'm at a loss right now on what I could have done to make it better, aside from starting from a different side/angle/whatever. Tint shop should fix me up.

I pretty much started from the middle and worked my way out.

[quote=midnit;1815568]I ordered mine from Perrin so that I would get their stage1 flash as well. I did NOT use the green connectors as I called Cobb and they told me that it wasn't necessary with the 08s. So I just plugged it in under the steering column and flashed.quote]
Thanks for the info Midnit.

Should be soon Casey, I est about a week til the rims show up, hopefully not longer than that!

Just did my first oil change at 1360 miles, thanks to Dan (BoostJunkie)! Typically pretty busy during the week, and he had all the parts and a nice garage to do it in, in this rainy weather!

Damn, everyone's coming over! You and Casey, haha. Who's next?

Photoshoot planned for tomorrow somewhere up in NJ, unfortunately won't have the volks in time, but maybe I can do another one next weekend if my friend's free.

Wow! That is hot! The lighting is just perfect and your car looks jaw-dropping ! I need to cruise to the city and take some pictures. I'm gonna set that pic as my background. Just awesome!

By the way, what camera does your buddy have?

He's got about 5 different ones ($20k worth of equipment total, lenses, etc), he swears by Canon though and totally hates on my Nikon D40x, haha. I'm just getting into DSLR Photography, and he gives me pointers and whatnot.

He's going to school for photography and that picture is this week's project for him.

The picture itself is actually about 10-11 different shots, each taken with a 30 second exposure and a remote flash, that we used at different angles to get the lines just right.
