| S204 Racer | Good looking car man, I love the overlays for the 08. I have some Blue Batmobile overlays on my 05, it gets a lot of compliments. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Yeah, Bishop's right. Haha, it's the AV Panel, still waiting on the damned D3, the BestBuy around my area still hasn't gotten any in. ![]() I've also got another big surprise though, that's getting shipped out on Wednesday, not sure when I'll receive it though. It's titanium silver, and used to be on this guy's evo 9 and evo X. ![]() ![]() Haha, I know I'm not very good at keeping things secret, I just had to share. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | ^^^ lol. Took me a while to understand what you were talking about. What size/offset? I'm pretty sure they will not be a direct swap. Very nice car/journal. Are you located in fairfax? In the picture with the 2si's and 350z, you guys are at the best buy/red robin shopping center. Keep up the good work. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Yeah, I live in the mid of Fairfax. Oh and the size is 18x8.5 +30... I'm not sure whether it'll be a direct fit or not, its a pretty low offset, but I couldn't beat the price I got them for in mint condition. Last edited by midnit; 04-15-2008 at 01:35 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | where did you order the AP from? Did you install it using the green connectors initially or you went straight to the OBD connection under the steering wheel? People are installing the V2 in different ways, just curious. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I ordered mine from Perrin so that I would get their stage1 flash as well. I did NOT use the green connectors as I called Cobb and they told me that it wasn't necessary with the 08s. So I just plugged it in under the steering column and flashed. Also, I finally took pics of the taillight overlays that I was having issues with. I think I'm going to order a new set of the outside pieces and have a tint shop do it when I get the car tinted. If you were in a car behind me, you wouldn't notice, but when you get up close, you see this: ![]() ![]() Could anyone provide any advice on how to do corners like that, if you've done them on your own as well? I know a few of you have. I was so upset after I did one, that I didn't really even want to continue, but knew it would look worse with only one done. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (3) | I've done mine and it was tough. It looks as though you did not stretch it enough. You need to use a heat gun or hair dryer at best and try to stretch the film, making sure you don't have any wrinkles like that. If you take your time and heat the film enough to stretch it and use your fingers, you can do it. But if you can have a tint shop do it then that might be your best bet.
