Default Flat4t's STI: Ever updating

Well I've been a member for sometime now and I thought I should set up a Journal of what I done. So it was a cold day in June-ish 05 and I was in the market to purchase a new car. I was looking at many cat during this period of time some were nice on the outside and other were nice on the inside. The hardest part for me was finding a car that would suite both my family's needs as well as mine(mostly mine). I wasn't going to buy something more than 35 grand so there was a bit of a hinder for me there. Now I've been well aware of the potential of the STI but wasn't very sure about Subaru. Until my little brother let me drive this beast I know today as the STI an all White and Gold STI what a sexy ***** she was. Only I had to contain myself for she wasn't mine and the true feeling of her opened up on a back road with me popping wood would have to wait.

So the time can when my brother would sell his car to reason at the time where sensitive. I had no choice but to buy this beauty. So after I bought her from him(by the way don't feel bad for him now cause he has one hell of an 05 Silver STI now to play with) I did the basic things first like get a radio and speakers so I can hear some music on the road when I play. I also install the Rally Armor mud flaps( which I thought was way cool mud flaps on a car crazy). Then there was the Hella's oh the Hella's hehehe the best F-n thing to get to piss people off loud as hell. That was about it for awhile sense I did buy it out right. Then I got bored and started looking into shifter parts and bushings. I changed every bushing in the shifter that I could. I also installed a rear sub frame lockout kit from my buddies over at TIC( great bunch of guys my daughter lover the little toys, so much she got me some stuff for X-mas from them for me) also from them the tranny crossmember bushings, rear outrigger bushing with whiteline lockouts, also whiteline steering bushings(by the way for anyone who doesn't have these GET THEM the mod was night and day). I also installed a JDM STI Titanium front strut bar. For now that is about where I'm at with suspension and drive train mods. For Performance I'm at Stage 2 with a Cobb v2, in need of protune(soon @xxtuning). I also installed an Invidia V3 catless, and Greddy Ti-sus cat back. I also have an Injen wrinkle red MR cold air intake. For ****s and giggles I bought a forge BPV rec(now I know I know the stock one was fine but this one looks good and I have different springs to change in when I upgrade the turbo). I also installed new turbo stainless steel oil feed line's with earls AN fittings(there is a great write up in here about this mod). Now comes the outside, I really didn't want to go crazy and by no means am I done but I installed a JDM V-limited front lip and JDM rear spats, I will be ordering sometime the painted WRX side skirts, I've also installed a autospeed front license plate delete. Thats it for now but There are a few thing that will be will be installed soon like Cusco oil catch can, Kart boy short shifter, and an ACT clutch and maybe a new stock flywheel or and ACT streetlite flywheel not sure.

So this is where I am and the bug hit the first day I got her, By the way I got her with only 6500 miles in 05 and for a mer $26,000.

Just some update there is no longer any yellow head lights they had to go because of the DMV and also I debadged the trunk and installed JDM blue I badge in the grill and a GT-Spec carbon exhaust shield.

Ya it pissed me off it took me like almost two hours to get them on perfect with no air bubbles and crap but when I went to the DMV for my exhaust whole other story they said it was illegal to have a film on your headlights assh****. They were really nice to I got them from RockBlocker.com. oh well time to clear and black out.

She's gorgias!

I like how you subaru guys put mudflaps on like they weren't cool, but they are. I wish I could find some saab flaps for the 9-3s.

What are your plans?
