IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | It's the DNX7100 model. It has navi, sirus, DVD, regular Am/FM, IPOD connection. I really enjoy it, much better than the stock system! And does anyone know how to get the "poll" off my page? Last edited by funSTi; 06-22-2008 at 08:45 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Well some updates on my car, I finally came to the decision that the suby is going to Colorado with me, I was a little hesitant about it but then I said, hell I can't live without her. I love my new seats, but my passengers have started complaining that about how they can't fit in my car anymore. So if anyone would like to trade passenger seats shoot me a PM. As for the modding I recently bought a pair of Tein Flex coilovers, and they should be here thursday and monday they will be installed!!!! After that it's just three things, F/R sway and different wheels. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Alright a little update as of about an hour ago... Well, after installing my coilovers I really noticed the other stuff that needed to be done to the car to handle the way that I personally like. After about two weeks of just having coils I finally got the rest of the chassis/geometery/suspension done. With the help of ROBISPEC (who is a really gnarly guy, and I would tell anyone to go to him) we decided on 27mm front & rear sway bar, with Whiteline endlinks. After lowering a Subaru you need to have a RCA kit so that was also on the list and was installed. Then to top it all off we installed the Race Anti-Lift Kit. I already had an alignment but we tweaked it a little so the results are Front Camber: 2.0 degrees Rear Camber: .9 degrees Toe: 0 all the way around The whole process went smoothly and I'm very happy with the turn out. The only thing left to do is but some 7k springs in the front and then just run the car until it drops! My first impressions of the car is just WOW, what a totally different handeling car, the Anti-lift really seems to give a lot more front end grip, the RCA keeps the camber more in play during hard turns, and the sways are fantastic at keeping the car flat during the turns. So now with this setup I have throttle endused oversteer and understeer. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Well, this last weekend I signed up for the Speed Ventures Track day at California Speedway. Well, I just had finished up my suspension a couple days before, and I was very eager to go out and test the car. My first ride wasn't in my car, Scott Vanderheide took me for a ride in his STi to get to know the lines. ANd WOW was his car amazing, the FP Green and KW's where a fantastic match. So now it was my turn, wel first turn and instantly I'm addicted to this road racing!!! I did 4 sessions and really had the time of my life. I might not be a great driver but I'll be going to road courses so often now. August 8th-9th Willow Springs here I come!!! |

| Senior STI Driver | haha you are definitely addicted!! I was wondering how you installed your seats, my main concern is keeping the airbag system working...minus the side impacts of course. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
