Default RONIN: OBP 07' New pics post 956

2007 OBP STI... Bought February 2007 and never looked back. I originally bought an 07' Mazdaspeed 3 to have some fun with...I started to get the mod bug (had it since I was a kid) and there were no parts available...I ordered many but nothing ever showed up so I went out and bought the STI...best and worst thing I have ever done. I enjoy it, as my wife says, too much.

I am not too sure of what is next on my modding agenda. I really need to think through my next few steps...I may just say scew it and go for the motor and rotated setup...But I also need to be realistic and realize this car is a toy and used predominately on the street. Maybe a 20g and larger injectors with my meth setup and a tune will do it for me...only time will tell.

I'm surprised you have 225 width tires on 18x8. I have the 18x8 Superleggeras and am running 235 and could probably go with 245 with only slight rubbing in the hard curves without rolling the fenders, lowered on Prodrive springs. My offset is +44 I believe. What is your reasoning for that choice? I'm sure you are lower than me, but your offset looks different from what I have.

Car looks great by the way!

I originally ordered these wheels and tires for my Speed 3 but they looked better on the STI...They are +48mm offsets. I will be going to a wider tire at some point in the future but for now they are fine...

Thanks for looking.
