Hey Casey. I just got your voicemail. I'll speak to you later and stuff, but in regards to your modifications you should just build it for mild power and then have a handleing monster with huge rubber, massive brakes, and a great suspension setup. That's what I would do I think....

That sounds like a plan!!! A TMIC, Injectors and a big 16g would be awesome. Add meth and a good tune and you will be faster than me as I sit now.

Hey Joe, I want to do a build like that for my winter project. (after saving up enough for it of course). and using a front mount instead of a top mount perhaps. maybe we can work on both of ours together and whatnot. however, my main concern tho is jeopardizing the reliability of the car > ? (and considering that it is my dd) maybe hold off on it a lil while longer then?

18g, injectors, and a bigger tmic using meth with a good tune and reliability will not change much. You could get 2 tunes for meth and no meth and switch em up as needed.

ur going to be spending 60k on that?! lol. and i thought u were low on the budget. or are you planning on doing a gradual build from a beetle?

i havent been really fond of vw's. (my last 2 ex's both had boyfriends with vw's-one a gti the other a gli). lol. otherwise i would say they are good cars however i'll have to learn to like em pretty soon. my sister might be getting the new gli or jetta diesel turbo.

lol....i was just bored and looking for a car and came across that.....I was actually looking for a corrado or rabbit....maybe a jetta....being bored and still with no daily driver....and the subie has no insurance so can't drive that....ohh i just picked up two alpine type-rs for $200 with a box(really crappy box, even the guy said so)....but ya i maybe look into building a custom box for it....prob will end up being in my subie but i might put one in my daily if i ever get one

dude no way!! V-Dub isn't really my style I was just looking through ebay to see if I can find a cheap car and that popped up....

ohh my gf just picked up an 08 jetta wolfsburg edition....2.0t....fast car!!!! I love it!!! The only thing is that its auto...she didnt' have the time to learn stick b/c of summer classes so she had to get an auto.
