I installed my Rally Armor mud flaps on Monday and I had a chance to take some pictures today.

I am really satisfied with the look and I hope they will do their job.

Hey there, thanks for looking out!

I am still undecided because I want to be 100% satisfied with my wheel choice. I've bought wheels in the past and liked them on paper, but they were a different story on the car itself.

So here is what I'm looking for:

1) 18" Wheel (Won't go higher and MIGHT do 17").
2) Bronze or Gold would be preferred, but other colors could work depending on if I like the wheel design.
3) Near future I would like some 255 or 265 tires so I need a wheel that can work with 245 and 255 or 265. (I might get tires now as well if I can find a good deal).
4) I REALLY don't want to spend over $2k on just wheels. As nice as Advans and Gram lights are, I can't pay that kind of price.

So as you see I have some things that I am looking for. If money wasn't an issue than I would definitely be getting some Advans, Weds, or Volks. But unfortunately money is an issue.

the gramLights and Works are both less than 2k.

the JIC wheels in the 18x9.5 +45mm size are becoming much more popular recently.

The Gram lights I was looking to get were over $3k. I know Works I can get for under $1.5k, and I was referring to the Weds that will be just over $2k.

I will take a look at the JIC wheels though.

yes there are some gramLights that are over 3k

I also know which weds you're referring to, I was just stating that it is possible to be below the $2k mark with the top brands as well

Your car looks great Spaceman ~ very Tasteful... Subaru rally fans on the European market love installing those mudflaps on their Impreza's ..I like them also & they serve a purpose..did they install easily using the pre-exsisting factory holes (used for the Subaru mudflaps) or did you have to drill anything ?

P.S : Yes...get some nice lighter wheels on there..those stock wheels weigh about 28lbs each ~ Make them your winter wheels maybe

Thank you for the comments. The install was very easy. Rally Armor provides detailed instructions and there is no drilling required. You have the option of drilling a hole in the rear, but a bracket is provided that clips on very securely.

That is exactly what I plan on doing. Stock wheels will be used in winter with some nice winter tires.

^^^ Good ~ I can tell you from expeience the stock 18" Dunlop SP 600's are like slicks on freezing surfaces !
Here is my 08' with the Silver 17" BBS wheels & Dunlop Wintersport MS Tires (which did a great job in the snow & ice) from my previous 06' STI ~ They don't look that bad . Cheers.

These look better though ~
