Tires should be in tomorrow so I hope to get them mounted after work! It's good to hear some people are beginning to change their minds about the '08. I will post pictures as soon as I can believe me. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Wider front track vs rear can help eliminate understeer when used in conjunction with proper camber/caster and tire settings. Would make sense seeing as this car was pretty fast at Tsukuba. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | i was thinking the same thing.... just never heard of it done on a subaru.. pretty interesting. its funny how so many people thought that the new sti was going to hold soooo much more rubber than the previous generation........ |

you rarely see them running insane width tires. i'm sure they've weighed the options of wider track vs. weight and grip and chose to go with the wider track. there are always trade offs when it comes to wheels and tires, choosing the proper setup for your needs is key and your needs will determine what trade offs you're willing to do.

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (3) | I got the tires mounted and balanced today, got home rather late and I didn't have time to fit the wheels on. I will do that tomorrow and possibly get some pics. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
