Cool Bishop's STi - Boulder, CO - Beatrush Has Arrived

Hello all, I joined IWSTi.com shortly after purchasing my brand new 2007 Obsidian Black Pearl STi. I spent a couple weeks keeping an eye out for the car i wanted in Colorado, and when it finally showed up in Colorado Springs, I had the local dealer do what was needed to trade for it. After trading with, I think, 2 other dealerships to get the STi, it was driven to Longmont, CO and sat, waiting for me to pick it up. I was at the dealer within probably 15 minutes after getting the call that the car was there, it was still wet in places from them washing it, and i had it debadged for the most part while i wrapped up the rest of the paperwork. I left the dealer with the keys to my 03 wrx, and drove the STi to my girlfriend's house, ecstatic w/ the HID lights and only about 68 miles on the odometer.

Please, post your comments, I'm hoping to get a decent amount of feedback.

Might as well start the modding updates: As it sits, i have the Red Hazard Button, Rally Armor Flaps, tint, bra, winter tires and stock bbs, prodrive axleback (replacing very soon), DaddySCP Hood Dampers, the Kenwood headunit, and the 3 Auger Boots (shift, e-brake, and console cover). I also rattle canned the yellow caps under the hood, brake fluid, washer fluid, oil filler, etc.... all red. I have the TurnIn Concepts Super Shift Set and the Hella Horns sitting on the install shelf. Also have the Flat black A/C overlays along w/ a can of flat black Plasti-Dip that im waiting for a lazy, warm day to use.

These are the A/C overlays

Hood Dampers

Engine bay and shot of the caps after they were sprayed

The Awesome Auger Resources boots and console cover

DIY S204 Grill Mod + engine bay shot

** I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME RESIZE THESE PICS, and i need to learn how to use my camera so everything is blur/glare free and not grainy**
Will post more pics on request

Waiting to be installed (Plasti-Dip and Hella Horns not pictured)

**So, i thought i resized the pics, then reloaded them into photobucket.... apparently it didnt effect the size of the pics on here..... Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.... Need to resize these to be smaller, and still gotta learn the camera so they come out clearer and such**

Just removed the intake silencer baffle, installed my Hella Supertones, and got the Kartboy and Lever bushing installed from my TiC Super Shift Set... Still have to do the front and rear stay bushings, just ran outta time.... The shifter is kinda a pain atm to row through the gears, but with time it should get better.... Pics soon **still need help w/ resizing the pics**

Like i said above, i spent the majority of my saturday workin on the car. Did the DIY Intake silencer delete, installed the hella supertones, and got part of my TiC super shift set installed (just the shoft shifter and bushings). Ran outta time and hopefully ill get the front and rear stay bushings, and linkage bushings installed as soon as i get access to the lift again. Today i spent most of my day studying for a damn test tomorrow, doing some yardwork, and painting some dash pieces.

I received the 3 HVAC control overlays from GraphicSTi, then painted the trim to match. Several coats of flat black Plasti-Dip later, this is what i have.

I'll be respraying the trim around the shifter sometime soon, along w/ the vent rings, and probably the all 6 pillars (i think theres 6, 2 windshield, 2 between F and R doors, and 2 along rear glass)

The pics dont do it justice unfortunately, the Red Hazard button REALLY looks good against all that black

Quick shot of 1 horn along w/ the DIY center pillar delete

TiC FTW

Also a pic of the stuff that came out of the car

I cant wait until i can throw the Bridgestones back on and spend some $$ on getting the car detailed REALLY well, or spend the time and money, learn how to do it myself, and detail the crap outta it.

!!! I ALSO FINALLY GOT THE HAND WASH IT !!!!! I have been doing the touchless spray down all winter and its been leavin me unhappy. Saturday when i got home, i FINALLY got to hand wash it and use my Mr. Dry Auto-dry car wash... Personally, i like it, i have heard negative reviews, and yes, it does leave some minor soap residue, but you gotta get like an inch away from the paint, in direct sunlight, to see it. If you had 1 person scrubbing and another person rinsing, it would probably work 100% since it wouldnt give the soap to dry out on the paint.... those who have used the product, im sure you know what im talking about

emissions exempt?!! you can legally run catless, is that what that means?!

BTW nice ride. i love those shift boots!! i want them

keep up the good work.

BTW to resize pics, i use image shack. select file, select size, click upload, highlight the bottom link (direct link for image), and come to IWSTI and click the little picture up next to the font selections and paste the link in there...

No, here in CO when you buy the car brand new, you don't have to be emissions tested for around 5 years if I remember correctly.

Yeah lol, i guess i can legally run catless... for i think 4 years, not sure though. All new colorado vehicles are emissions exempt for that duration, then gotta conform to the emissions laws all the counties around here are slowly removing emissions laws... all except the one i live in.... there is talk that it should change soon then i can run catless with no worries i dunno if it will make it, lotta hippies in this county, not many wanna polute i dont think lol, but we shall see....
