Here are a couple shots of the car from the day I bought it (7/3/2006):

And here are a few from a track day. At this point I had the V-Limited lip spoiler and COBB AP stage 1. Everything else was stock.

I eventually decided that the RCE Yellow springs were too stiff and too low for some of the rough roads I drive on.

So I re-installed the stock springs, and replaced the RCE non-lowering plates with RCE lowering camber plates. And then I installed Whiteline 24mm front & rear sway bars with Kartboy endlinks. By this point I was also riding on Ohlins struts at all 4 corners.

I also found that I had scraped up the V-Limited lip spoiler a little, and decided to take it off. From now on my plan is to only install it for track days.

So at this point it was looking like this...

Then I installed the new brakes to get ready for track days this year...

Those are the PowerSlot cryo-treated rotors in this shot. The stock brakes just aren't good enough for track days. At the very least you need pads with a higher temperature range and better brake fluid. I just hope the Pagid Blue pads and ATE Super Blue fluid will be good enough.

And finally, most recently I installed the TRMotorsports MT1 wheels with 255/40-17 Falken RT615's...

Thanks. I'm going to go wingless soon when I install the spec C trunk lid. But eventually I'll get an APR GTC200 wing. Then it'll look a little more rice-like, lol. But it's a light wing, and it's adjustable so I gotta do it.

Well it looks like the Spec C aluminum trunk lids are in short supply so I ordered the Varis CF trunk lid instead. I'm not sure how much it weighs, so I'll make sure to weigh it when I get it.

Me too, I wish I was a litte closer. The guy driving the Lambo was the lead instructor for the HPDE.

Well the Varis CF hood is 20 pounds for a total savings of 2 pounds.

And the Varis CF trunk lid is 11 pounds for a total savings of 30 pounds (24 pound stock trunk + 17 pound stock wing).

Hood is installed...

And the trunk lid is too...

I removed the trunk springs as well which amounts to another 2 pounds. And I've ordered some Neodynium magnets to hold the trunk up. We'll see how well they work.
