Unless the challenger has some power upgrades, its going to get trashed! I had a friend here who kept hyping up his volvo saying how fast it was, i took him for a ride in the STI once, that shut him up.

It may get trashed, but since I've some experience driving a 2004 stock STI I think it may be close. It's not a Volvo, it's a Viggen, and it is modified.

Thank you for the compliments (yours and your wife's). I've driven Saabs most of my life, and I've owned this Viggen for 3 years. There are only 13 3 door MC Yellow Viggens today (there were only 35 produced in the color).

I paid $18,500. You can find them for less than $9000 now, but not in yellow.

I used simple green and a TON of elbow grease. The compartment was dirty as hell and as you can see it turned out real well. About 2-3 hours just on the engine but it was worth it

Just replaced the rear passenger strut this weekend. It was EXTREMELY messed up. I will post some pictures around lunch time of the damaged strut and top strut mount. Prepare for epic failure.

So I have been driving this STi for a while and was wondering what my next step should be. I am thinking about going to a FMIC and possibly a K&N Typhoon. I also want to goto a Tein Flex Coilover system. What should I do next? Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

What are your goals with the car buddy? The K&N is a pretty good intake even though it is a short-ram but it is highly suggested that you get tuned once you install it andI wouldn't do the FMIC on the stock turbo without doing all of the other basic mods. If you are content with the power, focus on the suspension...

What other basic mods are you talking about? Would it be better if I went with a Cobb intake instead? I am open to suggestions!

Well Cobb only recommends their intake with their ots maps (obviously) but since you have an exhaust, maybe do a header or get yours PnP'd by Crucial orGrimmSpeed. You could also take a look at a new uppipe or maybe going EWG if you have the money. The intake isn't bad but many would say to not install it until you are closer to your tune date.

What do you mean by EWG?
