IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | I recently purchased a set of Rally Armor Mud Flaps. After my spectacularly inept attempt at installing them myself (I failed to get past step 1...yes, step 1...damn I'm handy), I had them installed by a local shop. I think they actually work really well on the car. Here are some admittedly dirty pics (during snowfall in sunshine...go figure): ![]() |

| Professional STI Racer | Nice looking STi man. I'm thinking about getting another blue/gold once I get out of the Air Force. I keep looking at the other colors but blue/gold still looks the best to me. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | I recently (like...months ago) added a Lathe Works Copolymer Shift Knob (with brass insert) that I picked up from a fellow user. I think it's a significant improvement over stock. The shift knob sits much lower than the stock knob, and the feel is significantly improved. I used to have a JDM Titanium knob in my old 04 STI, but I hated the way it was ridiculously hot in the summer and freezing in the winter...this knob shouldn't have that problem... ![]() Here's a pic: |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | Continuing my trend of "rather late than never" updates, I thought I'd post a few pics of iPhone integration setup. I found a cheap iPhone/iPod holder on eBay (it's actually an FM-modulator/charger, but I just use it to hold the iPhone in place) that plugs into the 12V adaptor. It works pretty well...I can balance my hand on the collapsed ebrake to press the buttons...the iPhone functions as a secondary screen: Here's a "full-size" view: I run a stereo AV cord out of the armrest cubby and up to the 12V outlet by tucking it underneith the center console. The end result is that the cord is fairly obsured without me having to do any drilling or serious work: Finally, given the ridiculous price and spotty reviews, I opted against the OEM Bluetooth microphone. Instead, I picked up a BlueTrek SurfaceSound unit for about $70: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/bluetrek-contour-design-surfacesound-compact/ It works exceptionally well, plus I can use it in other vehicles: |
