We usually get 4 per event Maron. We only got 8 in our first event which was a TnT. I think we'll switch to Kumho and see if they last any longer.

I do believe that you will see better results once you put on a bigger front bar. I have two new 285 30 18 coming by thursday, I will run them in the rear first for saturday's event, then swap them to the front for sunday's doublecross in ATL. I gave hooiser a call yesterday, and they are very interested in my findings. I want to continue to run the hoosiers, since they are a lot grippier than the v710s. After running the v710s and hoosiers backt o back, I won't go back. I have friends that have about 100 + runs on a set of hoosier A6s, and he's still running them at local events. Also you may want to look into getting a bigger profile such as a 295 30 18 or even the 315 30 18s. I'm sticking with hoosiers for now, since they are very consistent throughout their life and even under hot temps.

I can't believe you are thinking of going that big! For one, I think 315s would rub in the rear, and 295s might, and two, if the 275s are rolling over too much, aren't you going to kill the outsides of wider tires even faster?

285s are 11.4 inches across on the 8.5 inch wheel, the 315 won't be anymore than 12.4 inches across. I've already talked to quiet a few people running 285 30 18s on 8 inch wheels, the fact is the hoosiers are not as wide or as tall as a v710.

I don't doubt they would fit on the wheel. A local Solstice easily put 295s on their 18x8 wheels, but I don't know how 315s would fit under the car. Our 275s had like 1/4" of clearance inside near the strut.

Just ordered some 285 Kumhos, a swaybar and endlinks. Hopefully the bar fits properly, I have no idea if it's the right part or not. (psp-sus-121)

I still feel that the bar is too short, but it seems to be holding with the whitelines spherical endlinks. I will replace mine with the Harman bar as soon as it becomes available. Their bar has the same factory design, and the Perrin one doesn't.

I'll probably do the same, or wait until someone makes something bigger than 25mm.

SPT exhaust.
The pipes are nice and big, but the exhaust sounds like, well, nothing. It was cheap, and I used $200 of my suby bucks on it, so I can't complain (much).

Now to the good stuff.

285 Kumhos are WAY bigger than 275 Hoosiers, but the 285s are short.

Negative ghost rider, I was waiting for someone to notice. The 275s are mounted, the 285s, not so much. I guess that will pinch the 285s in a bit? It won't make them any taller though.
